Untitled (written once…)

A work in the form of instructions to repeat an unknown sign, word or sentence sequentially from one to twenty times. Another metalinguistic piece drawing attention to a specific property of verbal notation: only in the cases of one and two repetitions does the number of words correspond exactly to the instruction (tautology occurs). In subsequent cases, however, there is a gradual lengthening of the words denoting successive numerals, revealed through their written form. The work has been executed in the form of a computer printout.
