Untitled (yes no)
The visual structure of the work is based on the repetition of the semantic opposition of the two words. It exists in two principal versions: NIE (“no”) written upside down with TAK (“yes”) written in a standard form, and TAK written in a standard form with NIE written upside down. The letters of the word NIE are followed by the letters of the word tak written in lowercase, while the letters of the word TAK are followed by the letters of the word nie in lowercase. In another variant, the letters are written upside down so that the interior of each word becomes legible only after turning the page or board. This is another work based on tautology revealed through its visual aspect, repeating the conceptual premise of Antinomies. The work has been presented as a typescript on paper, an enlarged photographic print and a handwritten board on fibreboard.
