Untitled (triangle)

The work consists of the word trójkąt (“triangle”), whose threefold spatial arrangement tautologically constructs the shape of a triangle. As in beginend (1971), the author exploits the presence of the same letter at the beginning and end of the word. The work raises the question of the role of chance and design within the linguistic system: is it coincidental that the threefold repetition of the word “triangle” can generate a triangular form? The work has been executed as a digital print on paper mounted on a rigid support.
