Untitled (the word itself)

Thematically related to the 1972 work word, it points to a paradox: an expression intended to reinforce the loneliness of a word (samo słowo) in fact contradicts it. Here Dróżdż returns to his earlier observation that the more words are used, the more they “lie.” This reflection underlies his idea behind concept-shapes, based on the reduction of linguistic material. The work has been executed as a digital print on paper mounted on a rigid support.
