Untitled (something nothing)

A diptych composed of two square boards: the first bearing the word “something” in the centre, the second “nothing.” It constitutes a linguistic counterpart to Untitled from the same year, which contrasts an empty board with one containing a single point. Compared to that visual formulation, this version demonstrates the insufficiency of words in confronting extreme ontological issues: the verbal forms “something” and “nothing” fail to convey the experiential difference between the two concepts. The work has been executed as a digital print on paper mounted on a rigid support.
