Untitled (next to)

 The work has been presented in a rectangular or square format; it consists of the preposition obok (“next to”) repeated many times in evenly spaced lines. This notation forms a compact block in the centre of the sheet. The words at the ends of the lines are cut off by the edge of the implied “frame.” It constitutes a play between the concept of being “next to,” imagined as extending infinitely, and its verbal representation, which is limited by the material conditions of inscription. The work has been presented as a typescript on paper.
